Alisa Burpee, Ph.D.

Alisa Burpee, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the VA Pacific Island Health Care System. She employs an evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral approach in her work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, reactions to trauma, stress, adjustment to life events, and behavioral health concerns (e.g., coping with chronic illness, substance use). Using a compassionate, collaborative approach, she helps clients manifest the change and well-being they are seeking.

Additionally, Dr. Burpee incorporates mindfulness-based approaches in the process of healing. Her clinical training experiences include specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Health, and Biofeedback. She also has expertise in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress using both Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure.
