Katja Ermann, MA, LMHCA

Katja received her MA and is finishing her doctorate in clinical psychology from Antioch University Seattle. She specializes in children, families, and parenting concerns, with clinical experience in a range of settings, including community mental health and schools. Her approach to therapy is based on an integration of evidence-based relational, cognitive-behavioral, attachment, and systems theories. She has experience with Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and has worked frequently with children from preschool through adolescence and their parents on a wide range of difficulties, including complex trauma; behavioral problems such as aggression or hyperactivity; depression, and anxiety; and social concerns. She also sees women experiencing difficulty with the adjustment to motherhood or the demands of parenting a high-needs child, from postpartum through adolescence.

Katja also provides child and adolescent assessment, with experience in evaluation for neurodevelopmental disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder, as well a range of mental health concerns.
