Glenda Jasso-Porter, LMHC

Glenda Jasso-Porter is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who works with adolescence, individuals, couples, and families. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bastyr University, and her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. She has over 12 years of clinical experience and has served people with a broad range of concerns, in both community mental health settings and group private practice. Glenda’s approach utilizes integrative psychotherapy, coming from the perspective of addressing the “whole person”—considering thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Therefore, her approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She enjoys working with couples from an emotion focused and collaborative therapy perspective. Glenda believes that all of us have the capacity to make changes in our life, and sees herself as a guide and source of support in that process. She understands how challenging life can be and is honored to help others discover their own unique path toward attainment.
