Wendy W. Lee, MS, LMFT

Wendy received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Her clinical experiences have been in child, family, couple, and individual therapy. She has facilitated small groups and conducted workshops. Her therapeutic approach is driven from systemic and experiential theories, and emotionally focused therapy. She also practices art therapy, play therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR), and Lifespan Integration (LI). Wendy is a clinical fellow member of American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and she is a certified facilitator of the PREPARE/ENRICH Assessment program. She is a bilingual and bicultural therapist who is fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese) languages.

Wendy's understanding of life journey comes from her spiritual growth, marriage, parenting, loving parents, Asian heritage, clinical experiences, triumphs, disappointments, and official training. As a marriage and family therapist, Wendy assists couples, families, children, and women who are up against challenges in life. We are all longing to love and to be loved. With respect, empathy, insight, and creativity, she coaches couples to connect more deeply with each other and guides parents to bond with their children emotionally. Exploring their beliefs and perceptions that keep them stuck helps them to discharge their old feelings and to acquire new skills. As they move into deeper self-respect and awareness internally, their lives and their relationships with others are more authentic, rewarding, and joyful.

Wendy works with clients across the spectrum of the family life cycle who seek insight in:

  • premarital preparation
  • marriage enrichment
  • postpartum self-care
