Dr. Nadine Paschzella MD, Ph.D., LMHCA

Dr. Nadine Paschzella MD, Ph.D., LMHCA, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and child and family therapist. She is Board Certified in Germany as a child psychiatrist and licensed in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor Associate.
She received her medical degree at the Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany, in 2002, where she conducted research on the development of chronically ill children. In 2004-2006 she participated in the research program and worked in an outpatient unit specialized in treating children with autism spectrum disorder at the University of Homburg/Saar, Germany.
Most recently Dr. Paschzella was a clinical Co-Director of an inpatient/outpatient child psychiatric hospital in Ludwigshafen/Germany, where she lead a multi-professional team, provided supervision and oversight of an inpatient unit and out patient day programs. Between 2006 and 2013 she completed an intensive training in family systems therapy and became a trainer at the Dr. Maria Bosch family institute “Familientherapie Zentral” in Weinheim/Germany.
Dr. Paschzella has over 15 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families and adults in a variety of clinical settings. She integrates clinical techniques from different therapeutic approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness based approaches and family systems therapy.
