Sara Tapsak, Psy.D.

Dr. Sara Tapsak is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 8-22) impacted by acute and/or chronic medical conditions, as well as those experiencing anxiety-related conditions. Dr. Tapsak works with patients and families to promote adaptive functioning and resilience through interventions that build on individuals’ strengths to achieve treatment goals. She provides cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as other evidence-based interventions to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

Dr. Tapsak received her doctoral degree from Pacific University in Oregon. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship on the Psychiatry Consultation Service at Boston Children’s Hospital/ Harvard Medical School and her pre-doctoral internship in pediatric behavioral medicine at Holtz Children’s Hospital/ The University of Miami School of Medicine.
